downtown Boston in historic Charlestown, Kaplan Career Institute offers a

labs, and general offices that are all wheelchair accessible. There is a
library on campus with books, periodicals, and technical publications
for your use. Computers with Internet connections are available for

Electrician Program
For your career training, this program uses tools and equipment
commonly used by electricians in the workplace, such as testers, meters,
fire alarm panels, pipe benders, and emergency light fixtures.
RHVAC Service Technology Program
The Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (RHVAC)
Service Technology program provides tapes, slides, and many other
testing and instructional aids to increase your understanding of this
industry. Specific equipment used during your training includes:
- Hand tools and gauges
- Brazing and soldering stations
- AC/DC circuit construction boards
- Motors
- A variety of pumps, including vacuum, oil, and centrifugal
- Refrigeration trainers, commercial refrigeration/freezers, and
commercial ice makers
- Oil and gas furnaces
- Relay/transformer project boards
- Refrigerant recovery systems
- Hydronic boilers
