An Exciting Boston Location
A part of the city of Boston, Charlestown is the site where Paul Revere began his most famous ride before the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Charlestown is also the the northern end of the Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile walk that covers 16 historic sites from the Bunker Hill Monument to Boston Common. Besides a rich history, Boston boasts many public parks, with the Common being the oldest in the northern hemisphere. Boston is also home to many fine museums, including the world-renowned Museum of Fine Arts and Museum of Science. And for the sports fan, Boston is home to the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics.
